He performed a flawless parry against Daigo's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku before retaliating with an awe-inspiring combo ending in a devastating Shinryuken - wiping out half of Daigo’s health bar in one fell swoop.
Round two saw him face off against Punk "Alpha" Woodley where Tokido continued to stoke the flames. Punk put up an admirable fight using Chun-Li but couldn’t withstand Ken’s fiery onslaught led by Tokido. A well-timed focus attack provided an opening for Tokido to unleash another brutal combo ending in Guren Enjinkyaku – securing him yet another victory.
By round three, it seemed like no one could extinguish this human torch as he faced Xian "Masters". Despite Xian’s impressive Ibuki playstyle and relentless Kunai barrage attacks, they proved futile against Tokida's defense strategy and precise counterattacks utilizing Ken’s Heat Rush V-Trigger which turned the tide once again into his favor.
However, what truly cemented this match into SF6 history wasn't just these victories alone–it was how effortlessly and ruthlessly they were achieved by sticking solely to Ken throughout each bout. Tokido's dedication to this character was a sight to behold, as he showcased the depth and versatility of Ken’s moveset that left rivals scrambling for answers.
As the dust settled on EWC 2024 Riot!, one thing was clear: Tokido had set a new benchmark for Street Fighter 6 gameplay with his fiery performance using Ken. His rivals were left smoldering in his wake, each one torched by the relentless heat of his attacks.
