Judy here, folks. Punch and I are back with another sizzling recap of a Street Fighter 6 showdown that's been turning heads in the FGC.

We're talking about Shakz, an enigma who’s been making waves with his unusual approach to teching. The question on everyone's lips is: Is this still a thing? Or is Shakz just not teching in time? Let's dive into it!

The match kicks off with Shakz as Chun-Li, squaring up against Ken controlled by none other than our seasoned veteran, RyuKage. Right from the start, you can see Shakz playing a high-risk game - he’s opting for late techs over immediate ones.

Now Punch, what do we mean by 'late tech'?

Well Judy, in layman terms - it means delaying your defensive move until the last possible moment before an opponent’s attack lands. It's like playing chicken with your health bar!

Shakz was doing exactly that throughout round one – waiting till the eleventh hour to execute his throws or blocks. This strategy had its ups and downs; while he took some heavy hits early on due to missed timings, when successful those late-tech maneuvers left RyuKage open for counterattacks.

Round two saw both players trading blows evenly at first but then came ‘the moment’. With both fighters low on health bars and tension running high - Shakz pulled off a perfectly timed late tech under immense pressure which threw RyuKage off balance followed by swift retaliation knocking him out cold!

In round three though things didn't go as smoothly for our mystery man. His penchant for living dangerously caught up with him when RyuKage started predicting these delayed reactions allowing him to land successive combos leaving poor Chun-Li biting dust.

By now viewers were split right down the middle wondering if this risky tactic was more of a boon or bane for Shazk. Round four was the decider and boy did it deliver!

Shakz, seemingly unfazed by his previous defeat, stuck to his guns. He continued with late techs but this time he mixed things up a bit - throwing in some early moves as well which left RyuKage second guessing himself.

With each player landing blows and countering attacks, the tension was palpable! The match ended on a high note when Shakz pulled off an incredibly risky late tech followed by Chun-Li’s signature Spinning Bird Kick knocking Ken out for good.
