Welcome back to another thrilling recap of Street Fighter 6 highlights, brought to you by Short Fighters. This week's episode, aptly titled 'He Had to Put the Controller Down', was truly a spectacle that encapsulated everything we love about this game: high-octane action, nail-biting tension and jaw-dropping comebacks.

The match kicked off with both players choosing their mainstay characters - Ryu for Player One and Chun-Li for Player Two. The first round saw an aggressive start from Ryu, channeling his inner Spike Spiegel with quick-fire punches and kicks that sent Chun-Li reeling. Player One seemed unstoppable as he executed combo after combo in a relentless assault reminiscent of Cowboy Bebop’s intense brawls.

However, just when it looked like Ryu had the game in the bag, there came the twist worthy of any anime plotline. Channeling her Faye Valentine spirit, Chun-Li made an epic comeback in Round Two. She dodged Ryu's Shoryuken uppercut effortlessly before launching a flurry of attacks that left him stunned and on the defensive.

Player Two displayed remarkable control over Chun-Li’s moveset; her Hyakuretsukyaku was delivered with pinpoint precision while her Kikoken projectiles kept Ryu at bay. The tide had turned dramatically within moments as she landed a critical art move – Hoyokusen – which ended Round Two in spectacular fashion.

In Round Three - what can only be described as one helluva showdown - both fighters were down to their last sliver of health bar. With tension running high and stakes even higher, it was anyone's game at this point.

Ryu took advantage of his V-Trigger ability but missed landing his Shin Shoryuken attack due to an excellent dodge by Chun-Li who followed up with Yosokyaku aerial stomps leaving him open for more damage! But then came THE moment that had us all gasping for breath - Ryu, in a last-ditch effort, landed his legendary Shin Shoryuken attack. The screen turned white and when it cleared, Chun-Li was down.

The crowd erupted as Player One dropped his controller – an iconic end to an unforgettable match! It was a face-off that would've made even the crew of Bebop sit up and take notice.

This week's Street Fighter 6 highlight was nothing short of extraordinary. From epic throwdowns to unbelievable comebacks, it embodied the spirit of Cowboy Be
