In a stunning display of agility and power, our very own 'Big Guy' took center stage in the latest Street Fighter 6 showdown. The video replay titled "How does the BIG GUY move so fast?" has been making waves on Short Fighters’ YouTube channel, leaving fans both baffled and thrilled at this real-life David versus Goliath story.
The match started with an electric atmosphere as Big Guy, playing Zangief - the red cyclone from Russia known for his towering physique and devastating grapples - faced off against a seasoned Ryu player. Despite being dwarfed by Zangief's size, Ryu is renowned for his speed and versatility.
From the onset, it was clear that Big Guy had come prepared. He moved with surprising agility around the arena despite controlling one of Street Fighter's most physically imposing characters. His quick reflexes were on full display as he skillfully dodged Ryu’s Hadouken fireballs while closing in on his opponent.
Ryu attempted to keep Zangief at bay using swift kicks and punches; however, Big Guy deftly maneuvered through them like a ballet dancer tiptoeing around landmines. It was truly mesmerizing watching such a huge character moving with such finesse.
The first round ended abruptly when Big Guy executed Zangief's signature Spinning Piledriver move perfectly timed to catch Ryu mid-air during Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (Hurricane Kick), sending him crashing down into defeat.
Round two began much like the first; only this time, Ryu seemed more cautious about engaging directly with Zangief. But even from afar, there was no escape from Big Guy’s grasp! With an impressive use of Siberian Express – another one of Zangief’s powerful moves - he swiftly closed in on Ryu before launching him skyward again!
It wasn’t just brute strength that won Big guy these rounds though; his strategic gameplay was evident throughout the match. He effectively used Zangief's Iron Muscle move to absorb Ryu’s attacks, allowing him to close in on his opponent without taking much damage.
The final round saw Big Guy maintaining his momentum and eventually sealing the deal with a stunning Critical Art – Bolshoi Russian Suplex that left the audience gasping! The swift strike from this 'big guy' marked an unforgettable victory over one of Street Fighter's most iconic characters.
This showdown wasn’t just about winning or losing; it was a testament to how unexpected strategies can turn the tide
